The Mexico City office of Baker & McKenzie seeks a Intellectual Property Paralegal to join the Mexico City Intellectual Property Practice Group.
The ideal candidate will have experience with: Finding the jurisprudence applicable to each case. Carry out online research. Case management, involving coordinating all aspects of a case and ensuring appropriate steps are taken in a timely manner.Complying legal deadlines and filing documents. Legal research, fact gathering and information retrieval. Interviewing clients and maintaining contact with them, under the attorney’s supervision. Drafting and analyzing legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses. Drafting and signing legal correspondence that is informative in nature but that does not include legal opinion or advice.Summarizing documents and proceedings including depositions, interrogatories and testimony. The ideal candidate will also have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
