Description

The eBilling Timekeeper Maintenance Analyst will identify new timekeepers, complete the submission of timekeepers and their rates within various e-billing vendor sites and send them to client contact.  Additionally, the role-holder will monitor the accurate setup and status of rates on the e-billing vendor sites, escalating rejections and pending approvals as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the identification of new timekeepers and send it to the Rate Analysis Team to provide the rate for submitting to the e-billing site
  • Submit the timekeeper and rate provided by the Rates Analysis Team to the client's e-billing vendor site and via email according to the client agreement
  • Complete the timekeeper maintenance schedules as defined and update the current status in SharePoint
  • Track the status of pending fee offers on the e-billing site
  • Follow up with the client's legal operation administrator on outstanding pending fee offers; Escalate any outstanding issues to the in-market for assistance
  • Maintain client profiles while documenting information for standard rate clients
  • Monitor and support the resolution of e-billing invoice rejections related to timekeeper rate; Escalate unresolved rejections with the in-market to assist with resolution
  • Collaborate with the Firm's annual rate increase process and complete uploads within e-billing vendor sites. Track the progress of pending fee offers and escalate any rejections and pending fee offers
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, commerce, finance, liberal arts, or related courses
  • Prior experience in a billing or pricing role is an advantage
  • General understanding of accounting or finance principles as well as the specific law firm or professional service accounting structure, environment, and requirements
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred but not required)
  • Have the confidence to escalate and ask questions, especially when being asked to deviate from standard processes
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Able to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including learning new skills when required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
  • Able to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative
  • Flexible to work a reasonable shifting schedule is required
