Our Debt Capital Markets practice is at the forefront of providing commercially astute advice to major Australian and global clients. Our transactions are not only in the Australian market but a significant number are offshore. Our expertise has been reflected in our DCM team being finalists both in the Australasian Law Awards and in the Financial Times Asia Pacific Innovative Lawyers 2018. With offices across the globe, we provide our clients with something that no other Australian law firm can offer – a leading Australian practice with access to an integrated global platform.

Duncan is a high-profile, senior debt capital markets lawyer who has joined the Sydney office as partner. Duncan was previously a partner at Gilbert + Tobin, where he established and headed that firm's DCM and securitisation practice and has also worked at Allens, Allen & Overy and Goldman Sachs.
Duncan has a very broad DCM practice which includes securitisation, leveraged and general finance, peer-to-peer lending, insolvency and restructuring, block chain and smart contracts.
