The Kyiv Office of Baker McKenzie is hosting a competition for law students from Ukrainian universities. The most successful participants will be offered an internship. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience working at a global law firm, gain valuable insights into the legal profession, and build your future career with Baker McKenzie.
We invite students who:
- are obtaining their first degree in Law at 3rd-4th year of Bachelor's degree program or 1st year of Master's degree program;
- are fluent in spoken and written Ukrainian and English languages;
- have good to excellent academic performance.

- Internship in one of practice groups: Antitrust & Competition, Banking & Finance (Trade and Commerce), Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Tax, Compliance.

- CV in English;
- Cover letter in English (please indicate 2-4 preferred areas of practice);
- Information on academic performance (scanned copy of the diploma or the grades book).

Stages of Selection (HR Department will get in touch with the selected candidates to set a date and time for the next stage of the selection process):
I. Submission of applications (in order to be considered, any application must include all of the required documents).
II. 1.5-hours written English test (it consists of one question on legal topic and a translation section).
III. Interview with HR Department and Associates and Partners of Legal Departments.
IV. Final Selection - Interns Announced (candidates will be notified whether they have been selected as Interns. Those who are selected will be contacted directly by phone or e-mail and provided with further instructions).
Note: The Firm retains the right to propose certain candidates different practice groups or Internship period.
