Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice in various tax law areas (Tax Advisory, Tax Structuring, Wealth Management, Tax Controversy & Litigation, Transfer Pricing, etc.)
- Preparing relevant legal documentation (memos, agreements, legal opinions, etc.)
- Interacting with government authorities
- Participating in business development activities
- Supervising junior colleagues, ability to prioritize tasks and manage own workload
Key expectations and criteria:
- 3+ years of tax experience with international or reputable Ukrainian law firm, or Big 4
- Advanced knowledge of international tax law concepts and excellent knowledge of Ukrainian tax laws and regulations
- Experience of planning, coordinating and managing tax projects, projecting findings onto client structures
- Outstanding analytical, writing and presentation skills
- Client oriented vision and growth mindset
- Knowledge of IFRS and Ukrainian accounting standards is an advantage
- Fluent Ukrainian and English
- Master's degree in law from a reputable Ukrainian university (foreign LL.M. degree is a plus)
- Attorney's license is a plus.
