We are looking for a lawyer with a solid training gained in prestigious Law Firms or Big4 to strengthen the Tax team.
The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications:
- Law degree (Spanish qualified lawyer)
- A tax specialist with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience is required.
- Particular expertise in transactional tax will be highly valued.
- Tax LLM and/or Business Administration - Economics degree will be a plus
- Outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well as a part of a team.
- Be able to take responsibility for essential elements of a transaction.
- Strong technical and commercial abilities.
- Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
- Committed to providing an excellent service to our clients.
- International experience a plus.

Job Details
We are looking for a Tax Lawyer with a generalist profile to join our Tax practice and collaborate across a wide range of tax matters handled by the department.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on diversified tax matters and supporting the team in all areas of the Tax practice. While prior exposure to several of the areas listed below is highly desirable, an in‑depth knowledge of all of them is not required, as the role is designed to offer broad-based experience and ongoing professional development within the practice:
- Advise domestic and international clients on a broad range of Spanish and international tax matters, acting as a generalist within the Tax practice.
- Provide legal tax advice on corporate income tax matters, including transactional structuring and ongoing advisory work.
- Advise on transactional tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other corporate transactions, in close coordination with the Corporate team.
- Perform tax due diligence in M&A transactions, identifying tax risks and contributing to due diligence reports and transaction documentation.
- Advise on indirect taxation matters, including VAT, in domestic and cross-border contexts.
- Draft and review tax memoranda, legal opinions and transactional documentation from a tax perspective.
- Assist clients in interactions with the Spanish tax authorities, including audits and administrative proceedings.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and administrative practice and assess their impact on client matters.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice groups and with tax teams in other jurisdictions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, training initiatives and business development activities within the Tax practice.
