Baker McKenzie's Luxembourg office is part of a global law firm that offers a wide range of expertise and legal solutions customized to our international clients' needs. We advise clients on market-leading transactions in key industries, including banking, insurance, asset management, private equity and real estate.

Our Business Development & Communication Department is looking for a trainee for a period of six to 12 months from January 2024 on. An internship agreement is required. 

Your duties:

  • Create engaging content for our external and internal communication channels (social media, website, press release, invitation, internal newsletter…)
  • Participate in reviewing and implementing our communication strategy to increase brand awareness and visibility through social media, media coverage, sponsoring and key events 
  • Provide assistance in the concept, the planning and the set-up of our events (clients and internal)
  • Provide support to teams to prepare personalized client pitches and their follow-up
  • Produce accurate and high-quality reports relating to our business development performance, benchmark and visibility
  • Provide support in the preparation of legal directories submissions 

Your profile:

  • Student from a business school or enrolled in a master's degree in business administration, marketing or communication
  • Experience working in a communication or marketing role in a legal or professional services environment will be an advantage
  • Outstanding written skills in English 
  • High work standards and a sense of excellence
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and client service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to resolve issues
  • Ability to present ideas and views clearly and with confidence 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluent in English (level C2) 
  • Fluency in French will be considered an asset
