Description
The Budapest Banking & Finance Team is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Banking & Finance Lawyer to join our dynamic, highly ranked practice. You will work closely with experienced colleagues on complex domestic and cross‑border financing matters while developing your professional skills in a supportive, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior lawyers on complex financing transactions
- Assist in drafting and negotiating financing documentation
- Conduct legal research and prepare high‑quality memos, client notes, and transaction reports.
- Participate in due diligence processes
- Assist in regulatory matters
- Support with client communication, meeting preparation, and matter management.
- Ensure accurate drafting, version control, and transaction administration throughout deal execution.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications
- Hungarian law degree with strong academic results.
- Up to 1.5 years of relevant experience in banking & finance, corporate/M&A, capital markets, or transactional practice (fresh graduates are welcome).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interest in banking, finance, and transactional work.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proactive, responsible, and client‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Team player attitude with strong communication skills.
Language Skills
- Fluent Hungarian and English (written and spoken).
