Description

Helmy, Hamza & Partners (Baker McKenzie Cairo) is seeking a passionate group legal secretary. 

As a group legal secretary you will be assigned to a group of lawyers led by a partner and will be providing:
  • General secretarial work including typing (English/Arabic), document formatting, scanning, photocopying, phone calls, expenses receipts...etc.
  • Schedule/Calendar management (i.e. deadlines, due dates, follow-up dates, travel arrangements and/or accommodations and sets up teleconferencing).
  • Maintaining and updating associates’ task list, reminders and monitoring projects deadlines.
  • Creating and maintaining filing system and keeping track of current, closed and archived files as well as electronic filing/archiving for emails.
  • Assist in time sheet entry.
  • Check and handles all incoming mail for assigned attorneys.

Education & experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0 to 4 years of experience in the field of administration

Skills and abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal commands in both English and Arabic.
  • Full proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, efficiency and flexibility.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
