The Senior Business Analyst - Business Process Analysis will bring requirements elicitation and documentation skills that are essential to efficiently and swiftly shift the way our processes work in alignment with cloud technologies and achieve the value creation we expect as a digital organization. The use of process re-imagination, and design of clear and innovative process models where the interest of our internal and external clients are set at the centre, is an important success factor of our journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Create process maps and designs desired state processes adjacent to the cloud and technology overall
  • Drive workshops and all types of requirements elicitation techniques with confidence by fostering collaboration among teams in a novel way and with expertise. To be an expert facilitator who captures and documents information accurately and effectively
  • Create Use Cases, Personas and User Journeys to truly understand the end users, the ways we can make their lives easier and help in maximizing the value derived from their activities for the firm
  • Create prototypes, wireframes and mock-ups optimizing U/X and achieving high quality UI
  • Manage business rules repository
  • Create and revise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs); thereby translating business requirements into functional specifications
  • Collaborate with developers, technical teams and vendors to understand cloud technologies and requirements relevant for integration
  • Drive continues improvements within the team with focus on ways of working and knowledge share by leveraging available technology
  • This is a global role requiring regular work outside normal business hours to communicate with people in multiple time zones
Serve as a liaison to the following:
  • Business Sponsors and Stakeholders - maintain a close working relationship to elicit business requirements and discuss scoping decisions
  • Enterprise Architecture & Security - collaborate early on during business requirements to review business capabilities identification as well as taking into consideration the necessary internal security processes and procedures
  • Technology Teams - collaborate with all facets of technology throughout a project and to maintain consistent alignment with technology initiatives, strategy and compliance

Experience Required

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree information systems, computer science, business management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience in a business analysis role or similar, designing business process models and documenting current processes, creating BRDs and managing requirements, developing Use Cases, Personas, User journeys, Wireframes, Mock-ups, and performing Data Analysis
  • Good experience in Cloud Transformation projects is highly desirable
  • Experience with Visio and other process mapping tools
  • Business Analysis and/or Agile certifications are highly desirable
  • Experience with Design Thinking is highly desirable
  • Experience in a legal environment is highly desirable
  • Experience working for a Partnership is highly desirable
  • Consulting experience is desirable
  • This role requires excellent communication skills with both team members and internal business constituents. The ideal candidate is comfortable mediating between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility with confidence
  • Continued drive for excellence and high quality, despite frequent iterations, uncertainty, changes in priority, scope and stakeholders
  • Experience with ServiceNow is desirable
  • Strong Microsoft skills (i.e., Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of Visualization tools and know how to facilitate data driven decisions is highly desirable (e.g Power BI or Tableau)
