Location:  Belfast

The Project Manager - Technology will lead all aspects of technology project management for our most complex, enterprise technology projects that involve cross functional teams, systems, vendors, and stakeholders.  

The role will be responsible for idea forming, project chartering, estimation, resource management, dependency management, meeting milestones, management of the project schedule, and will play a critical role in forming and managing business relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of all project management related activities
  • Ensure all project deliverables are accomplished to meet the defined business requirements
  • Elevate and motivate the performance of the project team, ensuring scope is met, adhere to the schedule, tasks are completed, and escalations are managed
  • Report on project metrics including success criteria, financials, milestones, resources, and overall project status
  • The candidate must possess the ability to professionally communicate all aspects of a project to Senior Management, the business, and across multiple technical departments
  • Ensure proper ITIL governance is followed to meet project objectives, and mitigate risks and issues
  • Focus and research on the latest industry standards, tools, and techniques that will improve our overall project delivery

Experience Required

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Information Technology or Business, Some experience in Project Management; experience in the legal industry would be a bonus but not required
  • Experience with managing Cloud migration and application integration projects
  • Familiar with basic cloud computing architecture
  • Experience managing projects in a centralized Project Portfolio Management system(PPM)
  • PMP or PRINCE certification is preferred
  • Strong analytical, decision making, motivational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage, escalate, and resolve both project issues and risks
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to provide professional presentations to all audiences both virtually and in person
  • Proficient in the PMI Lifecycle
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
  • Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders regarding IT processes, guidelines and compliances
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk and take decisive, appropriate actions, as well as escalate through the proper management channels
  • Ability to network and collaborate with teams both regionally and globally, while acknowledging their cultural, social and academic diversity
