Tax Compliance and Controversy
A growing trend has been the increasing focus on enforcement by Vietnamese tax authorities, leading to more tax audits and stringent filing requirements. We regularly advise our clients on effective long-term tax planning to focus on ongoing compliance and advise on filing and documentation obligations. We also assist with recurring operational tax issues, formulate strategies for formal tax audits or informal queries from tax authorities and handle tax dispute cases.
Trade/Distribution/Customs
We assist clients to navigate the full range of import and export regulations. We minimize commercial obstacles by assisting with customs controversies, including challenging customs valuations. Additionally, we advise on contract manufacturing and processing arrangements; import and export compliance; foreign exchange controls and supply chain structuring and planning to derive maximum tax and duty benefits.
