Main responsibilities
- Conducting research on IP-related legal issues and regulations.
- Drafting and preparing legal arguments, comments, and analyses; and
- Translating documents into English or Vietnamese and vice versa.
Requirements:
General Requirement
- Third- and last-year law students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas.
- Highly motivated, quick learner with close attention to detail;
- Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to handle pressure and sensitive matters; and
- Thorough competency with relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new applications.
Technical
- Strong understanding of Vietnam's legal framework;
- Knowledge of Vietnam's regulations and enforcement environment concerning the relevant practice areas; and
- Knowledge of or experience with new technologies and trends (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital assets and virtual/augmented reality), and IP prosecution and/or enforcement is a plus.
