The Technical Process Specialist will provide technical support by bringing innovative solutions to increase process efficiencies and staff effectiveness through the deployment of tools, templates, and other new technology platforms available in the market, specifically for the Billing Operations Team.


  • Develop and deploy technical solutions to support and streamline processes including tools, templates, and new technology platforms
  • Provide support and coordinate upgrade activities on SAP, PRE, and other systems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on the development, support, and enhancement of Q2C-oriented ServiceNow requests and applications
  • Create and support technical training materials for use by market- and Center-based personnel
  • Review and analyze the use of technology in Billing Operations processes; make recommendations for improvements and enhancements and coordinate development and deployment of enhanced tools
  • Train specialists and analysts to promote use and acceptance of tools and technology and obtain recommendations for improvements from users
  • Promote a highly professional and high performing culture across teams; act as a role model; identify opportunities allowing for employee growth and assist the team in achieving goals
  • Drive performance excellence with effective communication, performance management and employee recognition; Identify and escalate process deviations across Q2C
  • Collaborate with Firm stakeholders to resolve specific issues, enhance operations, or implement new standards and processes

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, commerce, finance, liberal arts, or related courses
  • Good experience in a billing role
  • General understanding of accounting or finance principles as well as the specific law firm or professional service accounting structure, environment and requirements
  • Keen attention to details and effective organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Confident to escalate and ask questions, especially when being asked to deviate from standard processes
  • Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred but not required)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, including learning new skills when required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative
  • Flexibility to work a reasonable shifting requirement is required
