The Senior Coordinator for Global Meetings & Events (EMEA) will focus on supporting regional events in EMEA that may include Practice & Industry-focused events, in addition to the EMEA Regional Meeting, the firm's Annual Meeting, and any additional events as required.

The Senior Coordinator, Global Meetings & Events is responsible for the support, planning, and delivery of in-person, hybrid, and virtual regional events as required, strong focus on supporting registration.

The Global Meetings & Events Team (GMET) is responsible for the successful delivery of in-person and virtual meetings and events across the Firm which range in size and scope.


  • Project Management: Successfully supports the delivery of meetings through effective project management. Advise and guide internal clients and planning teams regarding the registration process, planning, liability/risk management, and logistical aspects of events. Ability to successfully work independently, actively seeks feedback to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of meetings
  • Event Planning: Collaborate with GMET Sr. Leadership Team, other GMET Managers, and internal clients on event design, agenda development, brand building, and communications. Implement innovative and cost-effective event management, including but not limited to the following functions:
    • Site Selection and Request for Proposal (RFP) Development
    • Preparation & Distribution of Attendee Communication
    • Guestroom & Registration
    • In-Person Event and Social Event Logistics (Including Virtual & Hybrid when required)
    • Event Collaterals (e.g., Name Badges, Tent Cards, Attendee Lists)
    • Post-Event Assessments

  • Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates and manage event-related expenses, including post-event reporting. Identify cost savings opportunities and implement strategies for reducing event-related expenses
  • Relationship Management: Develop successful relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders. Promote impactful client interactions. Establish trusted partnerships with Global and Regional hotel sales contacts and suppliers (many of whom are Firm clients). Supports Inclusion & Diversity
  • Department Projects: Contribute to or lead department projects associated with aligning best practices to enhance existing project management guidelines and procedures. Evaluate client and hospitality industry trends

Skills and Experience:


  • College Degree (meeting planning or marketing degree a plus)
  • Strong strategic meeting & event management experience
  • Experience in successfully navigating a complex law or business environment and able to move projects along or adjust to the needs of the organization or internal client

Hotel & Hospitality Industry Experience

  • Involvement with hotel and hospitality industry through various associations

Event Experience

  • Strong strategic event experience
  • Thorough knowledge of supporting registration and logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, experience with hotel operations and supplier engagement

Project Management Skills

  • Highly organized with a successful background in project management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Outstanding accuracy skills and strong attention to detail

  • Experience working with registration systems is preferred
