Description

The Recruitment Business Partner will perform Center-based recruitment in line with the stakeholder's requirements, liaising with the resource managers, HR Partners, and other functional HR teams to fill vacant positions in alignment with the Firm's business objectives. 

As the primary point of contact, the role holder should demonstrate the ability to work effectively with both potential candidates and internal managers to ensure that standard processes are followed and hiring needs are supported.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Search Strategy

  • Plan and identify effective sourcing strategies to pipeline top-notch talent for Manila Center
  • Post open requisitions to various recruitment resources (i.e. Job Boards, Industry Sites, Universities, Job Fairs, and Social Media Platforms)
  • Make recommendations on opportunities for improvement of sourcing strategies that will produce qualified candidates and other creative ways to get candidates
  • Manage and track the performance of various sourcing channels including job boards, relationships with Search Firms, Universities, and other entities that may be a source of leads for recruitment
  • Keeps an active network within the industry to ensure that Manila Center is updated with the latest trends and issues on manpower resource planning and recruitment

Calibration

  • Participate in job evaluation and job profiling for newly created or modified positions
  • Confer with different hiring managers in identifying hiring needs, determining screening guidelines and candidate profiles to ensure the best fit

Recruitment Operations

  • Support the implementation of sourcing strategies, screening, exam administration, and shortlisting of potential candidates for all open positions
  • Ensure the quality of shortlisted candidates by evaluating resumes and conducting a comprehensive interview before endorsing to specific hiring managers
  • Oversee the scheduling of the departmental interview with the appropriate hiring manager
  • Take responsibility for achieving recruitment targets, including time to fill, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction
  • Monitor background checks for identified candidates in partnership with the vendor
  • Prepare contracts and offer letters for promotion or transfers
  • Recommend job offers and packages
  • Ensure compliance with GSM's Recruitment Programs and Policies
  • Quality and Project Management
  • Review the existing recruitment process and recommend improvements. Project-manage all identified projects to be rolled out
  • Conduct a periodic audit of recruitment processes to identify gaps and ensure compliance of the Recruitment team to established procedures
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time

Recruitment Systems/Reports

  • Comply with the agreed usage of various recruitment tools e.g. GSM's applicant tracking system, job portals, etc.
  • Prepare and present recruitment reports to stakeholders to track hiring progress

Other Tasks

  • Participate in People or Recruitment projects as identified by the immediate supervisor
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time

Skills and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration
  • Relevant experience performing end-to-end recruitment, having responsibility for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for various positions concurrently
  • Experience in conducting behavioral/targeted selection interviewing techniques
  • Knowledge of using MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in using recruitment applications such as applicant tracking systems, job posting portals, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and can confidently interact with different levels in the organization
  • Skilled at researching, investigating, and gathering information using available resources
  • Experience in working on multiple and sometimes simultaneous requirements with different hiring profiles
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational work environment is a plus
