Description

The Portfolio Manager, People Solutions will manage the portfolio of Technology products for the People Function, focusing on maximising the value of the portfolio, and achieving the right balance and mix of products, as well as directly supervising the People Product Managers.

Also the Portfolio Manager, People Solutions will bridge the gap of understanding between customer needs, operational needs and technology capabilities; lead the portfolio team in the technical implementation and support of SuccessFactors core HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, On Boarding, P&G, Learning and other modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Product Managers, including performance management (i.e. annual performance reviews), task assignment / prioritization, leave time approval, and coordination of all follow-the-sun and support activities if required; provide career development guidance for the team
  • Management of SuccessFactors technical implementation and product support to include Employee Central, Compensation, Benefits, Performance & Goals, Recruitment and On Boarding
  • Manage projects and teams within budget and timelines
  • Work with the Associate Director People Solutions to ensure the budget is updated annually and monitored closely
  • Develop business cases, project estimates and plans for new system projects within the portfolio, in line with the Technology PMO processes; prepare and deliver professional communications to various levels of the organisation to communicate project objectives, status, risks, and achievement of the expected goals
  • Implement the portfolio roadmap to centralize, standardize and optimize all office based and enterprise applications related to the assigned portfolio
  • Understand the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the portfolio and provide input to the Solutions Lead on the required budget and resources required to manage the portfolio
  • Work with the Product Managers to manage vendors, including analysis of third-party spend; apply appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance and develop a clear risk management plan
  • Ensure compliance with our Information Security Management System policies (ISMS) and all other Technology processes related to the effective management of the portfolio
  • Ensure that Product Managers are following the Change Management, Release Management and Technical Change designated processes
  • Ensure technical knowledge base, solutions support plans and relevant technical training is provided to the Service Desk and On-site Support teams as necessary
  • Work with the Service Delivery management team to introduce new processes and practices to develop and improve project delivery performance across all portfolios
  • Develop and enhance relationships with Technology and Business teams, actively managing expectations & monitoring satisfaction levels
  • Act as escalation point for business challenges from a delivery or relationship perspective

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems or equivalent
  • Strong hands-on work experience in a professional environment
  • Good demonstrable experience leading successful product implementations and on-going enhancements
  • Good proven experience leading a team in the implementation and support of SuccessFactors Employee Central, and other SF modules
  • Experience working in a legal services environment preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong understanding of the relevant portfolio requirements and good level of knowledge of some of the products within the portfolio
  • Strong awareness of and interest in technology trends relevant for the relevant portfolio
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of building trust and respect at all levels of an organization
  • Fluent written and spoken English
