The Pitch Delivery Studio Senior Coordinator, Global Client Pursuits (GCP) will be part of the Pitch Delivery Studio, based in one of the following "follow the sun" shared service centers in Manila, Tampa, and Buenos Aires. The Global Client Pursuits (GCP) team requires someone with hands-on proposal experience to support the development of the Firm's complex cross-border, high-value/high-growth proposal opportunities. 

Although organized by region, the Pitch Delivery Studio is a global team. The Pitch Delivery Studio works in an integrated fashion with the regional team of pitch experts who lead the Firm's most strategic, pitches and panels for key clients and pursuits.

The role holder will report to the Center Supervisor and work with the pitch expert team, led by a Pitch Project Manager, who will provide instruction, guidance, and constructive feedback throughout the pitch lifecycle, in collaboration with the regional Center Lead. They will work closely with the regional Studio Lead supporting the team's continuous improvement m and sharing best practices with the junior team members. 

The role holder will be assigned to a proposal acting as a dedicated pitch team member tasked with developing the opportunity. They will prepare first draft proposals based on the pitch lead's brief and offer continuous support throughout the pitch life-cycle. Additionally, if they have the capacity and depending on the urgency of requests, they will support ad hoc proposal development, following the sun. They will be assigned to the most complex (and/or time-sensitive) opportunities. They are expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior services to our clients, producing work products of the highest quality, and fostering an atmosphere of teamwork.

Responsibilities:
 
The Senior Coordinator is principally responsible for these key areas of the bid process: (1) proposal support, (2) research and reporting; and (3) pitch enablement. 
 
Proposal support:

  • Prepare first draft proposals based on the pitch lead's brief including, gathering relevant content from Firm tools and precedents, external website, sourcing and editing CVs, Firm experience searches and preliminary selection, rate cards, formatting tasks (e.g., request image searches, cleaning of documents)
  • Write and tailor content (including creating a first draft of non-complex executive summaries to support pitch lead efforts and creating new content based on existing materials)
  • Develop presentation materials, including placemats for GCP-led pitches and pursuits
  • Coordinate and organize input from multiple offices (e.g., outreach re CVs, capability matrices, deals, etc.)
  • Populate client templates and client questionnaires hosted on portals
  • Format and proofread GCP-led proposals
  • On-time draft delivery of proposals and input — meeting internal deadlines and requirements
  • Continue support throughout the pitch life cycle

Pitch Research and Reporting: 

  • Research for proposal strategy development (including pre-panel planning) covering past proposals, terms & conditions, running financial reports, client research (or liaising with the research team)
  • Summarize research output, and identify red flags, opportunities, and key points for consideration during kick-off and opportunity assessment
  • Upload materials and edit entries in the pitch automation & content management platform and pitch and panel trackers, following pitch submission
  • Monitor and follow up on the outcome of proposals with the pitch lead and update the trackers accordingly

Pitch Enablement:

  • Liaise with other Firm departments to update pitch automation & content management platform content revised/created in the context of a proposal
  • Shadow pitch experts on teleconsultations
  • Guide local offices in navigating the various pitch tools
  • Be engaged in best practices and learning sessions with Center Leads, Learning & Development, and Expert team to upskill more junior team members

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Good level of experience in a business development role in a business and/or professional services environment; law firm experience preferred
  • Experience in BD/ communications in professional services is advantageous 
  • Excellent English writing and oral communication skills, including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Hands-on experience in proposal development including writing and project management is a significant advantage
  • Able to take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion to creatively solve problems and implement solutions 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Client service focus, flexibility, can-do attitude; motivated and enthusiastic; personal drive and energy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Photoshop is good to have
  • Using web-based and library resources for BD intelligence gathering
