The Analyst, Leadership & Learning will be responsible for assisting with the day to day administration of the AP L&L Team’s operations, with a focus specifically on Singapore and Kuala Lumpur due to the complex CPD requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Organising training programme delivery logistics
  • Recording to comply with local Law Societies' and Firm requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the AP L&L Team to execute the smooth running of the operations. The role would involve direct interface with the lawyers and partners


Training Setup and Delivery

  • Manage front-to-end logistics for delivery of training programmes
  • Manage online L&L calendar and all other L&L internal systems
  • Confirm training logistic requirements, presenter availability and CPD requirements
  • Set up training programmes in L&L internal systems
  • Draft and issue invitations, reminders and pre-work
  • Gather, prepare and distribute training materials
  • Coordinate room setup and monitor attendance

Record retention, compliance, reporting and analysis

  • Accurately track and maintain programme delivery and attendance records
  • Ensure compliance with local Law Societies' accreditation deadlines and other requirements
  • Accurately update attendance and CPD records in L&L internal system
  • Prepare quarterly/ad-hoc CPD reminders and reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc foreign CPD/CLE requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Firm training requirements
  • Analyze data with AP L&L Team and produce reports to enable better decision-making


  • Draft weekly L&L newsletter
  • Coordinate required resources (IT, catering, materials, etc.)
  • Raise payment reimbursements for catering and external trainers
  • Sort out withholding tax implications for foreign trainers
  • Liaise with various key stakeholders for implementation of training programmes
  • Assist AP L&L Team in executing training plan and recurring office specific programmes
  • Monitor budget expenditure in conjunction with CPD requirement (Singapore and KL specific)
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc task/projects

Experience Required

  • Diploma in Business Management, Human Resources or equivalent would be preferred with at least 12 months of previous working experience in a similar capacity in a legal or professional services environment
  • Working knowledge of SILE CPD requirements is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are essential, specifically with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proactive and ability to grasp quickly the Firm-specific internal systems is essential
  • Strong administration ability and attention to detail is required for the role
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships at various levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizing skills - able to prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines
  • Strong follow up skills and the ability to see tasks through to completion
