Description
The Data Integrity Administrator, Practice Support will ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security within the firm’s IP management systems (IPMS). The role-holder will primarily oversee the data verification processes during the migration from the GIPM to Symphony systems as part of Project Edison (the project for the development of our new Symphony IPMS) and also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the maintenance of data integrity within Symphony moving forward. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold data integrity standards, identify inaccuracies, and facilitate clean-ups or audits of information as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to design and execute data validation strategies for Project Edison
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data validation and clean-up requirements and activities
- Conduct thorough data validation and verification checks to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Cleanse and transform data as needed, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data integrity requirements and implement best practices
- Develop and maintain data integrity procedures and guidelines
- Monitor data quality metrics and address any anomalies promptly
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies
- Participate in data migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition from GIPM to Symphony
- Assist in the execution of tests and audits as may be required in Project Edison.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate findings effectively
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to Symphony adoption and documentation practices
- Perform other tasks as may be required by the Project Edison Leadership and IPSU Management Team
Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree and with good academic credentials
- Proven experience with data validation, and clean-up
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Experience in system or IP-related projects is an advantage
- Experience in IP matters or enterprise technology solution projects is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective decision-making skills, provide solutions with the business objectives in mind
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Able to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision
- Able to stand pressure and work beyond normal working hours
