The Assistant Manager - Global Clients Projects will work closely with the Director - Global Clients to support on the management of strategic projects to support the IKC program and the implementation of the Client and Market strategy. The role will also drive collaboration and effective ways of working across the regional, global and local champion clients.

Project management in support of the Industry Key Client Program

  • Support with programs and projects associated with the implementation of the Client and Market Strategy
  • A leading role in the management of strategic and ad-hoc IKC and related client projects
  • Liaison and collaboration with other Firm units to ensure the efficient, quality and timely delivery of requirements
  • Assist in the development of processes, infrastructure and operations that support the IKC and Regional Client teams
  • Sharing best practice, reducing duplication and encouraging collaboration across the team via BakerCI and other key platforms
  • Planning, communication and coordination with stakeholders to develop project plans, identify and allocate resources, present recommendations, manage schedules and provide progress notes for the efficient and effective delivery of projects
  • Track IKC Program growth projects including ROI. Project Management of the Winning Post and other platforms to share success stories
  • Assist with IKC leadership meetings and reporting to the EC and other management bodies
  • Work with IKC and regional client leads to support training

Skills and Experience Required

  • Marketing or related degree
  • Strong understanding of BD and marketing practices and Firm systems and tools
  • Advance skills in research, and data analysis
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record in project initiation, planning, execution, tracking and control
  • Experience in developing and managing cross-functional teams, and highly-adept in managing people, infrastructure and other resources
  • Highly-proficient in Microsoft office applications including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills and experience
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations
  • Logistics coordination/management experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong, enthusiastic team player
  • Prior experience working in a virtual team setting preferred but not required
