Biography
Jim Vrijaldenhoven is an associate in the Employment & Compensation Practice Group of Baker McKenzie's Amsterdam office, where he advises on a wide range of employment law matters. He is a member of the Global Employment & Compensation Practice Group.
Practice Focus
Jim mainly assists human resources departments of multinational clients as well as the boards of small and medium-sized enterprises on a range of employment law matters. He provides legal support to clients going through collective dismissals, Works Council-related issues and (de)merger activities, among others. Jim also advises on cases relating to investigations, illness, poor performance files and dismissal cases.
Jim has registered employment law as his principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
