Biography
Anelis Villarreal is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Houston office and is a member of the North America Transactional Practice Group. Anelis began her career with the Firm as a summer associate in 2019. Anelis’ work spans a variety of subgroups within the broader Transactional practice.

Anelis practices in the areas of corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as reorganizations where she represents companies in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.

- Represented a global computer security software company on the USD 4.0 billion divestiture of its enterprise business.
- Ongoing representation of NYSE and NASDAQ-listed companies in connection with SEC reporting and disclosure obligations, compliance with stock exchange rules and regulations, and general corporate governance matters.
- Ongoing representation of a global leader in upstream and midstream oil and gas products and services in connection with corporate reorganizations.
- Represented Honeywell International Inc. on the international aspects of the sale of its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business to American Industrial Partners.
- Represented Honeywell International Inc. on the international aspects of the USD 1.4 billion sale of its Productivity Solutions and Services business to Brady Corporation.
- Advised S&P Global Inc. on the separation of its Mobility business into Mobility Global Inc., a newly independent public company.
- Advised Johnson & Johnson on its USD 50 billion spin-off of Kenvue, its consumer health business.
