Biography
Dr. Maximilian Sattler joined Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group in 2013. Practicing in the areas of domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration, he advises and represents clients especially in construction disputes (from both the customer and contractor perspective) and in cartel damage disputes. Maximilian teaches at the University of Mannheim and frequently publishes in legal journals.
Practice Focus
Maximilian advises clients at all stages of commercial disputes, from pre-trial negotiations through court proceedings and arbitrations to the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards. Apart from his extensive experience in cartel damage disputes, his focus is on energy- and infrastructure-related matters, including disputes involving nuclear power plants, coal-fired plants, wind farms, the petroleum industry, and power distribution facilities.
