Shira Sasson
Biography
Shira is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Firm's Toronto office. Her practice focuses on disputes, brand management and enforcement, and health regulatory matters. Shira also assists with the Firm's pro bono initiatives, providing legal support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Shira joined Baker McKenzie as a summer student in 2018, and subsequently completed her Articles of Clerkship. Prior to joining the Firm, Shira completed a Masters of Science in pharmacology and a Masters of Public Health. Through her time in school, she interned for the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, and later with a global pharmaceutical company, where she advised on health regulatory and governmental affairs.
