Biography
Alex is an associate in the Baker McKenzie Dispute Resolution team based in London.
Alex joined Baker McKenzie as a trainee solicitor and qualified into the Dispute Resolution department in 2026, having undertaken a secondment to the Firm's Banking & Finance team in the Bahrain office where he acted on a broad range of financing transactions across the Middle East.
Practice Focus
Alex has experience across a range of disputes, including high-value fraud disputes, employment litigation, and investor state and commercial arbitration.
Representative Legal Matters
- Acting for two emanations of the State of Kuwait in connection with a fraud claim worth USD 150 million. Our clients filed direct and derivative claims in the Cayman Islands worth over USD 150 million against various parties in for breach of contract, breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty and conspiracy.
- Assisting on various investigations on compliance and workplace conduct.
- Acting for an employer on a multi-million-pound discrimination and harassment case.
- Acting for a Saudi construction company in an SCCA arbitration involving complex construction disputes.

Corporate Responsibility
- Acting on an unpaid wages and sexual harassment claim before the Employment Tribunal. Following successful judgment, the client received a compensatory award of GBP 20,000.
- Representing a client in a welfare benefits appeal, including appearing as sole advocate before the tribunal panel.
- Coordinating the Firm's internal climate-focused pro bono initiative.
