Max Nederlof

Next to a general focus on mergers and acquisitions (including corporate takeovers, joint ventures) for private equity and strategic parties, Max is developing a strong presence in the Amsterdam energy, mining and infrastructure sector and has a particular focus on renewable energy and clean technology. He regularly advises (publicly and privately held) corporates, (private equity) investors, developers on M&A transactions, joint ventures and restructurings, including the drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts.

Max has registered corporate law as his principal legal practice area and Mergers & Acquisitions as his secondary legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar's register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister). Based on this registration, Max is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

• Advised Egeria on the acquisition of Afrika Invest B.V. from its current shareholders.
• Advised the ultimate shareholders of the sale of all the shares in Creamy Creation B.V. to Stockmeier Netherlands Food Holding B.V.
• Advised Kimberly-Clark in its strategic partnership with Suzano to create a preeminent international tissue and professional products company.
• Advised UBE Corporation on the purchase and acquisition of the URE business from Lanxess Deutschland GmbH (and its affiliates).
• Advised Sunoco LP on its acquisition of several liquid fuels terminals in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Bantry Bay, Ireland from Zenith Energy Netherlands B.V.
• Advised Meilland International SA on the sale of of all its shares in Rosaflor B.V. to Suntory Flowers Limited.
• Advised Roularta Media Group on the acquisition of Flow Magazine from DPG Media.
• Advised the shareholder of Ecotools Onroerend Goed B.V. with the sale of Ecotools to Bunzl.
• Advised Safe Life AB, a European and North American leader in AEDs and training, on:
  • its acquisition of AED Solutions B.V.; and
  • its acquisition of Fuego Tiel B.V.
• Advised EPH Group on the acquisition of the wholesale activities of PZEM and the Sloe power plant.
• Advised BG Light B.V. on the acquisition of It’s About Romi B.V.
