José María Méndez heads the Intellectual Property and Information Technology & Communications department at Baker McKenzie Madrid. He previously worked as a partner in the intellectual property practice of an international law firm, and was deputy general counsel and head of legal affairs at Sogecable. He frequently participates in the activities of non-profit organizations Caritas Diocesanas and Aldeas Infantiles. Mr. Méndez is also a professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, teaching media and entertainment law.
