Biography
Mr. Beomsu Kim’s practice focuses on commercial arbitration, investor-state disputes, cross-border litigation. He heads the Dispute Resolution Practice Group for Baker McKenzie & KL Partners Joint Venture Law Firm.

- Representation of a leading Korean construction company in an UNCITRAL arbitration and court proceedings before a foreign court relating to disputes arising from a construction project in India.
- Representation of a Korean game company in international arbitration proceedings under the KCAB and the ICC Rules relating to disputes arising from license agreements.
- Representation of a leading Korean private equity fund in an ICC arbitration proceeding relating to its investment in a global financial institution in Korea.
- Representation of Korean EPC contractors in ICC arbitration proceedings under the ICC Rules relating to dispute arising from construction projects in Vietnam.
- Representation of a Belgian investor in the first-ever investor-state dispute brought pursuant to a bilateral investment treaty against the Republic of Korea.
- Representation of the United States investors in the investor-state disputes brought pursuant to the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement against the Republic of Korea.
- Representation of a Chinese investor in the investor-state dispute brought pursuant to the Korea-China Bilateral Investment Treaty against the Republic of Korea.
