Biography

Philippe Frieden practices in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group of Baker McKenzie in Paris since 2021.

Before joining the Firm, Philippe completed his traineeships for the Paris bar in several international law firms in Paris.

He advises French and international clients, both industrial companies and investment funds, on all types of mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions.

  • Advised video games developer and publisher Embracer Group on its strategic EUR 2.75 billion acquisition of international board game publisher and distributor Asmodee Group from PAI Partners.
  • Advised global electronic component and service provider YAGEO Corporation on its binding EUR 723 million commitment to buy Schneider Electric's industrial sensors business.
  • Advised the consortium of Airbus, Safran and Tikehau Ace Capital in connection with its acquisition of strategic aerospace, defense and nuclear industry supplier Aubert & Duval from mining and metallurgy group Eramet.
  • Advised global measurement and data analytics industry leader NielsenIQ on its acquisition of Data Impact, a leading e-commerce intelligence player in 40 markets.
