Francesco Florenzano
Biography
Francesco Florenzano is a counsel in the Tax Practice Group of the Italian offices of Baker McKenzie.
Francesco leads the wealth management practice in Milan, regularly advising financial institutions on strategic issues and on their clients’ tax issues.
Francesco’s practice focuses on tax law with a particular expertise in employee benefits, tax controversies, corporate restructuring, financial products, private banking and real estate transactions.
Francesco is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organized and co-organized by Baker McKenzie. He is also author of numerous articles in domestic and international tax periodicals.
Francesco graduated from the University of Perugia (J.D. cum laude, 1991), obtained his postgraduate degree at LUISS University in Rome (Master in Tax Law, 1992) and a PhD in Tax Law at University of Pavia in 1996.
He was admitted to the bar in 1995 . He is admitted to practice also before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione).
