Baker McKenzie assisted the pool of lending institutions in a financing transaction for the benefit of Grenke Italia.
The transaction, which aligns with grenke’s growth plan in the Italian market (where it has been a market leader for several years) and with the group’s strategy of diversifying its funding sources at an international level, concerns the granting of a new syndicated revolving credit facility (RCF) for a total of EUR 150 million. The financing is supported by a guarantee granted by grenke AG, the holding company of the grenke group, a listed company included in the German SDAX index and a global financing partner for small and medium-sized enterprises, providing banking and leasing services.
With a team comprising Partner Carlo de Vito Piscicelli and Associate Camilla Bassi, Baker McKenzie assisted the pool of lending institutions on the financing aspects. Counsel Francesco Florenzano handled the related tax matters.
