Marianne Angeli Estioco
Biography
Marianne Angeli B. Estioco is an associate in Quisumbing Torres’ Intellectual Property, Data and Technology Practice Group. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2020 and passed the Philippine Bar with exemplary performance in 2022.
She worked as journalist for a regional business publication prior to studying law. While in law school, she served as President of the UP Law Debate and Moot Court Union and received numerous commendations for her participation in international moot court competitions.
Practice Focus
Marianne’s practice focuses on intellectual property and data privacy law. She has extensive experience in handling intellectual property disputes, and has worked on cases pending before the Philippine Supreme Court, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, and other courts and quasi-judicial bodies. Her work also includes advising clients on data privacy compliance, including conducting data privacy trainings, preparing and implementing of privacy programs and policies, breach response and reporting, and other technology-related regulatory matters. She also assists clients in complying with various telecommunications regulatory requirements.
