Practice Focus
Kristína advises on all aspects of international commercial law including, inter alia, international trade, distribution and agency agreements, franchising, advertising and consumer protection. Kristína has extensive experience and often counsels on foreign trade-related procedures, including international sanctions and export control issues. She regularly conducts due diligence investigations involving both Czech and Slovak companies.
Kristína also has experience in regulatory proceedings, including public procurement proceedings. The advisory in connection with public procurement proceedings mainly includes structuring of strategy in public procurements, evaluation of technology issues and assistance in negotiations with contracting authorities.
Finally, Kristína’s experience in the field of dispute resolution includes legal advisory and representation in commercial litigations, insolvency proceedings and related litigations, employment and tax litigations, as well as domestic and international arbitration proceedings. She often advises investors on treaty planning, and leveraging international protections in the context of government interference. In addition, she regularly provides advice in the areas of information technology including domain name disputes. She also advises with respect to Czech and Slovak criminal law matters with the main focus on the white collar crime.
