Biography
Laksanaporn (Namfon) Chaiyakham is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Zurich office and a member of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practice group. She graduated from the University of Zurich with a Master's degree in Law in 2024, having previously also studied at Northwestern University. Subsequently she joined the Firm as a trainee lawyer and re-joined as an associate in 2026, after having been admitted to the Swiss bar. Additionally, Laksanaporn previously built a strong foundation in insolvency and corporate finance matters by working for various reputable law firms.

Laksanaporn advises domestic and international clients in the areas of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings as well as capital markets. In addition, her practice includes banking and finance matters.

- Advised Numab Therapeutics AG on its USD 1.25 billion sale of its atopic dermatitis spin-off to Johnson & Johnson.
- Advised Privatbank IHAG on the sale of its business to Bank Vontobel.
- Advised UBS-led Bank Syndicate on the Financing of ATP Adhesive Systems' Acquisition of Neschen Coating.
- Advised UBS on the debt financing of Rieter’s acquisition of OC Oerlikon’s Barmag textile machinery business for manmade fibers.
