Alessandro Celli
Biography
Alessandro Celli is a senior counsel in Baker McKenzie’s Zurich office. He focuses on technology-related transactions, intellectual property, competition law, IT, data management, data protection, and cyber risk, as well as commercial litigation and sports and entertainment law.
Alessandro regularly advises Swiss and international clients on national and cross-border transactions, including joint ventures, licensing, distribution, and the sale and acquisition of technology businesses and brands. His practice also covers data management, sourcing (outsourcing and insourcing), and data protection, alongside business restructuring.
Alessandro is a member of the Commercial, IP and Disputes practice groups which he has been leading in Zurich. His current focus is on legal and compliance challenges arising from new technologies and digital business models, including regulatory and sourcing matters with particular relevance to the financial services sector.
Alessandro is admitted to the Swiss Bar and is a member of the Zurich Bar. He previously served on the board of the Zurich Bar Association and has been a lecturer at the University of Fribourg.
Alessandro is member of the boards of several selected Swiss companies.
