Biography

Catrin is an associate in the Employment & Compensation Practice Group in London. She joined Baker McKenzie as a trainee in September 2018. As part of her training contract, Catrin spent time in the M&A, Employment, Tax and Disputes departments. Catrin subsequently qualified as an associate in the Employment team and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in September 2020.

Practice Focus

Catrin advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters across a variety of sectors, including tech, pharmaceutical, media and financial services. Catrin assists with employment related disputes, provides day-to-day HR advice, coordinates global employment projects and assists on employment aspects of multijurisdictional transactions.

  • Provided a wide variety of day-to-day employment advice with a domestic and international focus under a retainer with a global technology company.
  • Assisted with employment aspects of various multijurisdictional reorganisations in preparation for the carve-out and sale of businesses.
  • Conducted employment related due diligence for a range of companies considering acquisitions.
  • Assisted various clients dealing with data subject access requests from employees and former employees.
  • Worked on the employment aspects of the global separation of a large pharmaceutical company.
  • Provided advice in relation to a complex internal investigation.
