Biography

Gustavo Boruchowicz is an M&A partner and former managing partner of Baker McKenzie's Buenos Aires office. Gustavo has held a broad range of leadership roles over his 30-year tenure at the Firm, including serving on the Global Executive Committee, acting as Latin America Regional Chair, and contributing to the Regional Practice Group Leadership team.

His experience includes mergers, spin-offs, reorganizations and other complex structures in sectors such as consumer goods, retail, financial systems, banking, and services. He advises foreign and local investors on their investments in Argentina, on corporate, regulatory and commercial structures, combining strong local capabilities with seamless support from colleagues in key international financial centers.

He served as an associate professor in the University of Buenos Aires School of Law.

Practice Focus

Gustavo focuses his practice mainly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He also advises on real estate and general practice issues.
