Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie today announced that Francesco Macrì has joined the Firm as a partner in its Transactional Practice Group, based in Milan. He will lead the Real Estate practice in Italy.
Francesco joins from a leading international law firm, where he led its Italian Real Estate practice. He brings extensive experience advising institutional investors, funds, developers and asset managers, both domestic and international, active in the real estate sector. Over the course of his career, Francesco has advised clients on acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets, corporate transactions, and development projects, with a particular focus on managing and coordinating complex portfolio transactions, both domestic and cross-border, across all major asset classes, including logistics, offices, hospitality and leisure, residential, student housing and retail. He also has significant experience advising on the management, enhancement and development of real estate portfolios, including lease agreements and business leases, private procurement contracts, management agreements and real estate services contracts.
Francesco will play a key role in further strengthening Baker McKenzie’s Real Estate offering in Italy, while supporting multinational clients on cross-border real estate transactions. His arrival will also generate significant synergies across M&A, Banking & Finance, Tax and Regulatory matters.
