In brief
Catamarca Minera y Energética Sociedad del Estado (CAMYEN SE), the mining company of the Province of Catamarca, has launched a public tender for entering into a contract to explore, with the option to exploit, the following areas:
- Filo de la Vicuña, Department of Tinogasta, southwest of the Province of Catamarca (5,160 hectares).
- Gold Nugget, Department of Tinogasta, southwest of the Province of Catamarca (5,829 hectares).
In focus
The contract has a term of up to five years, after which the awardee must decide if it wants to exercise the option to exploit the area. Minimum exploration works must be completed. The call for bids was published in the Official Gazette of Catamarca, and the bidding terms and conditions ("Bidding Documents") are available on CAMYEN SE’s official website.
The Bidding Documents cost USD 5,000 each, and their acquisition is a pre-condition to submit bids for either or both areas.
The deadline for submitting bids is at 10 am on 17 October 2025.
