Through our pro bono work, Baker McKenzie engages teams of problem-solvers on the most compelling social justice challenges around the globe where our teams, both inside our Firm and from our corporate colleagues, can make an impact.

To achieve this mission, we regularly partner with in-house legal teams to expand our collective reach. Our teams work on behalf of a variety of clients, including engaging in direct representation, impact litigation, policy and advocacy work, building new legal resources and addressing complex legal questions for the world's leading non-profits, public policy institutions, and international NGOs.

Talking Impact, Talking Justice

Join us for any or all of a series of discussions with leaders and experts from around the world on issues related to access to justice, human rights and the rule of law.

Public-Private Partnerships for People-Centered Justice in the Digital Age:
Protecting Women, Children and Youth While Advancing the Rule of Law
September 28, 9:30 - 10:30 am CEST | Virtual

We are pleased to invite you to attend virtually a panel at the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, hosted by Penal Reform International with support from the International Centre for Justice Alliance and Baker McKenzie Pro Bono. This UN Crime Congress is the world's largest and most diverse gathering of policy-makers, practitioners, academia, intergovernmental organizations and civil society in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice.

As digital technologies continue to transform societies and justice systems around the world, collaboration between governments, private sector organizations, civil society and international institutions has never been more important. Meaningful public-private partnerships can help expand access to justice, strengthen legal protections for vulnerable populations, and promote innovative, responsible, and inclusive approaches to addressing emerging challenges in the digital age. The discussion will provide an opportunity to exchange perspectives, share best practices, and identify ways to work together to build more inclusive, resilient, and people-centered justice systems.
