Biography

Emma is responsible for managing the UK pro bono practice. She has been working in the pro bono field since 2006 and is a qualified solicitor of England & Wales. Emma works with charities, NGOs, universities, law centres and the advice sector to develop and deliver pro bono legal advice and support to those most in need.

Additionally, Emma is a senior lecturer in law at London South Bank University where she is also working towards her doctorate in legal education.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Advises individuals navigating disability welfare benefits appeals at Tribunal.

  • Acts as key point of contact for British citizenship applications undertaken with Coram Children's Legal Centre.

  • Supports the development of LawWork's “Free Legal Answers” which enables individuals to ask legal questions via an online portal.
