Yi Zhang
Biography
Yi Zhang is a senior economist in Baker McKenzie's Washington, DC office. She is a trusted finance and tax professional with a wealth of expertise in international tax, transfer pricing, litigation, intellectual property (IP) valuation and business strategy.
She is knowledgeable in complex tax solutions, financial analyses and tax planning across numerous industries, including digital technology, financial services, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, electronics and transportation.
Yi has provided economic consultation to a broad range of multinational corporations with a focus on IP, international tax planning and transfer pricing issues. She has experience in analyzing recent OECD tax and policy developments; particularly, the Pillar Two Model Rules. Yi also provides economic services to Baker McKenzie's other practice groups.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Yi was a vice president at Duff & Phelps who assisted in offering expert opinions on economic issues surrounding IP and international trade disputes.
