Anne Ultee

Anne focuses on Dutch corporate income tax law, Dutch personal income tax law and international tax law. Anne has experience in tax planning/restructuring engagements and has helped clients in developing strategies for the conclusion of ATR's as well as tax audit defense and tax litigation. Furthermore, Anne has experience in advising high net-worth individuals on their (Dutch) personal income tax matters, including estate planning and the transfer of businesses to the next generation.

Anne is both a registered tax advisor and an attorney-at-law and represents multinational enterprises in tax planning (including cross-border reorgs) and tax litigation. Anne has registered tax law as principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal areas. Based on that registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in tax law, in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

• Advised on a large restructuring of a multinational group and their redomiciliation to the United Arab Emirates. 
• Provided tax planning advice to a Dutch family business and its shareholders on the application of the Dutch business succession scheme.
• Advised a well-known United Kingdom non-profit-organization on the receipt of an inheritance from a Dutch-based individual.
• Involved in a large Dutch tax-litigation on the application of the Dutch business succession scheme following the transfer of shares in a well-known Dutch family business.
• Advised a Dutch-based individual on his migration to the United Kingdom. 
• Provided advice to multiple clients on the impact of the Dutch foreign substantial shareholder regime on foreign shareholders of Dutch tax resident entities.
