Biography

Andrew is a senior associate in the Corporate team in Baker McKenzie's London office, having completed his training contract at the Firm. He is a member of the Firm's M&A Practice Group and Healthcare Group. Andrew previously worked in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office focusing on M&A in the Greater China region and also spent six months on secondment to the Corporate & Transactions team at Unilever plc. Andrew is a committee member of the Hong Kong Society.

Practice Focus

Andrew's practice focuses on cross-border M&A and joint ventures, as well as advising on general corporate law matters, primarily for clients active in the consumer, technology and pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Advised PDS on its strategic partnership with ABG for Ted Baker Operations in Europe
  • Advised S&P Global on the sale of its Global Engineering Solutions Business to investment funds managed by KKR 
  • Advised Bacthera on the acquisition of 4D Pharma's Spanish subsidiary
  • Advised Celanese on the acquisition of DuPont's Mobility & Materials business
  • Advised Siemens on its acquisition of UltraSoC Technologies Ltd
  • Advised a global pharmaceutical company on the carve-out and separation of its consumer healthcare business
  • Advised SS&C Technologies on the international carve-out aspects of its acquisition of IBM's Algorithmics business
  • Advised an American private equity firm on the proposed divestment in a leading global manufacturer of power conversion and embedded computing solutions
  • Advised Unilever on the EUR 6.825 billion sale of its global Spreads business
  • Advised Atos on its acquisition, through its subsidiary Worldline, of First Data Baltics from First Data Corporation
  • Advised British American Tobacco on the expansion of its business into Bulgaria through the acquisition of Bulgartabac Holding
