Giulia’s practice focuses on international taxation and tax dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on taxation of the digital and platform economy. She advises multinational groups on tax audits, disputes and settlement negotiations with the Italian tax authorities. Giulia’s practice also covers VAT, customs and the tax aspects of M&A transactions and reorganizations.

Giulia has extensive experience in managing complex and innovative tax audits, where she provides strategic advice and support throughout the negotiation. She has a proven track record in successfully negotiating with the tax authorities to resolve disputes favorably.

Her expertise encompasses a range of tax-related issues, including permanent establishment and VAT fixed establishment, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, reporting obligations, and VAT and customs matters.

• Assisting a digital economy platform in a multi-year transfer pricing audit and mutual agreement procedure, successfully concluded with a favorable outcome.
• Assisting a global professional services group on the Italian tax aspects of the acquisition of two technology and healthcare businesses from an Italian IT group.
