Jasmin Spörri
Biography
Jasmin Spörri is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Zurich office and a member of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practice group. She graduated from the University of Lucerne with a Master's degree in Law in 2023, having previously also studied at Singapore Management University. She joined the Firm as a trainee lawyer in 2023 and re-joined as an associate in 2026 after being admitted to the Swiss bar. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Jasmin gained extensive experience in the banking industry, having worked for several years at an international bank in wealth management and private banking functions.
Practice Focus
Jasmin advises domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, debt and equity capital markets transactions, regulatory matters, as well as general corporate, commercial and contract law.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised SIX-listed R&S Group, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure components, on its acquisition of Kyte Powertech Limited, an Ireland-based manufacturer of distribution transformers.
- Advised Coöperatieve Rabobank and UBS Switzerland on a EUR 930 million multicurrency revolving credit facility agreement for Aryzta.
- Advised VT5 Acquisition Company AG, the first SIX-listed Swiss special purpose acquisition company, on the acquisition and public listing of R&S Group on SIX Swiss Exchange.
