Biography

Aida Spahovic is an associate and a member of Baker McKenzie's Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Vienna. She joined the Firm in October 2021. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, she worked as a trainee at several renowned Serbian and international law firms focusing on corporate and criminal law. Aida also obtained relevant experience while being an intern at the Court of Appeal in Belgrade. Currently, she is focused on international arbitration and participating in representing clients in disputes before arbitral tribunals.

Practice Focus

Aida's clients benefit from her unique knowledge of both Austrian and Serbian law. She focuses her practice on arbitration and assists domestic and international clients in disputes arising out of complex contractual relationships within construction and energy sector. Aida represents clients in arbitral proceedings under the most relevant arbitration rules.

  • Advised a major oil and gas company in a contract conclusion matter regarding location of gas stations.
