Practice Focus

Kirsi focuses her practice on both commercial and corporate litigation, emphasizing on complex contract disputes, liability disputes and competition litigation. Additionally, Kirsi has experience with matters related to pharmaceutical advertising.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Represented Barclays c.s. in relation to three separate proceedings initiated in the Netherlands by Stichting FX Claims.
  • Represented the portfolio companies, Papyrus Group and OptiGroup AB, of FSN Capital Partners in summary proceedings initiated by Divide B.V. and Impera B.V.
  • Represented Almirall, a pharmaceutical company specializing in medical dermatology with a market capitalization of approximately EUR 2.4 billion, in multiple disputes initiated by two of Almirall’s competitors (Sanofi and Leo Pharma).
  • Advised Caterpillar Inc. on a complex workplace accident and related liability issues.
  • Represented Verisure in a high-stakes dispute with a group of former employees that claim additional bonus payments on the basis of a (disputed) interpretation and application of Verisure's bonus scheme.
  • Represented Ingram Micro in a dispute with a customer that refused to pay the invoices for an on-premises software license and related services.
