
Rosa Ros
Biography
Rosa Ros has been the team leader in the Global Immigration and Mobility Practice within the Employment Department in the Barcelona office since 2007.
She is an attorney with more than 25 years of experience in corporate immigration law. She routinely advises multinational and domestic clients on the strategy, requirements and procedures to secure visas and work and residence permits, and satisfy employment eligibility and other immigration-related regulatory requirements.
Rosa participates on a regular basis in seminars and conferences on mobility and immigration, and has been a lecturer in ESADE Business School's International Business Law Master program at Ramon Llull University.
Practice Focus
Rosa provides counseling to multinational companies across industries — industrial, manufacturing and transportation, IT, healthcare and consumer goods — to assist with the management of their immigration portfolios; she has also advised state-owned companies and governmental offices on immigration law.
Rosa advises clients on a wide range of immigration and mobility issues, helping companies with hiring key talent requiring immigration sponsorship, and moving employees globally to meet business demands. She approaches the movement of talent holistically, looking beyond immigration issues to spot and address the relevant employment and tax concerns.

Advised a US retail listed company on the assignment of employees and the local hiring of employees to set up and expand in the Spanish market.

Advised an airline company on the assignment of employees, which lead to the opening of new stations in several Spanish airports.

Advised IT companies on immigration considerations in advance of the establishment of new entities, which led to the deployment of key managers and specialists to set up operations in Spain.

Advised a heavy equipment multinational manufacturer on nine projects carried out in Spain, involving the temporary assignment of engineering teams for timely execution of each project.

Advised a regional government on a multimillion foreign investment project.

Coordinated the advice for a Spanish subsidiary of a US entity, on the temporary assignment of employees in multiple jurisdictions for the execution of services agreements.
